PAUL FREEMAN'S MASTERPIECE!!! All his books are poetic, and sensuous, and offer great creativity, and he captures the men just being themselves. BUT this one in my mind is in a class by itself. This book is incredibly scarce, and went OOP quickly. Paul, in my mind, has a great sensitivity as an artist, and I look forward to seeing where he goes next. The men obviously look very comfortable being photographed, and clearly Paul is not using anyone, his lens is there admiring these men in all their glory, and sharing these photographs with the world. I have collected all his books, but still hope one day to add "Bondi Road", but at present the price is beyond my means.

I was first introduced to Paul Freeman's work by a dear friend In Austria and have since purchased EVERY single volume of his works!!!!!!! He is a genius with a camera and a beautiful man in front of it!!!! You must see this artist's work to believe it!! His nude male art photography is sensual, erotic, just plain beautiful---never pornographic but highly charged with male hormones!! I loved this volume so much, that I bought it for that same friend for his birthday this year. This volume is out of print and I have seen it sell for as much as $400--USED!!!! I lucked up and found this offering for sale at a steal--$200. It was listed as like new but when it arrived, all that was lacking was shrink wrap!!!!!! Even the dust jacket was pristine. Anyone who owns Paul's work will tell you what it means---you respect it so much that you take immaculate care of each volume. This particular seller was no different. I have always had great luck buying used books on Amazon!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And........................ENJOY!!!!!

Paul Freeman's best book of male photography yet. Captures the true manliness in these guys from the Australian outback. Ok, some are posed, but in general it's great. Just looked thru it again and it truly is wonderful. Updated 12/10/16.

Manly and uninhibited in the adventure of the moment. I think this work is brilliant. It emotes life, energy and almost breathes on you as the observer.

I'm so glad I bought this book, the photos are sexy, beautiful, and excellent quality.Every image shows men at very masculine,sexy, interesting situations, the frontal nude ones are very nice and wonderfully taken.The combination of nature and the beauty of the male body is extraordinary.

We keep an eye out for children's books with Korean content, since there is very little available. When I saw this was out, I purchased a copy for my daughter. She immediately took to the book, and I enjoy that it has all the songs in Korean and English. I made a copy of all the Korean versions for grandma's house.They've done a very good job of translating the songs into English that matches fairly close to the Korean cadence. The book is enjoyable to read through as poetry, too, just reading each page without knowing the tune (yet). The English versions are sung by New Zealanders, so occasionally the accent comes out. The production quality is good, with guitar backing up all of the singing. (I mention this because too much children's music is low-quality MIDI music.)The song selection is a nice mix. Some are songs a mother would sing to a child, while others are songs you'd expect kids to sing themselves. Most of the songs are older or traditional songs. Honestly, the only song I was hoping for that wasn't there is "santokki" (mountain rabbit), which was one of the first songs my daughter could sing from memory. It does have "nabi ya" (butterfly), which was another of my daughter's favorites already.

This is a great set of Nursery Rhymes with lots of good songs on it. The package arrived quickly and in perfect condition as advertised. The author should've consulted with a Korean speaker about pronunciation, especially of a few words. When "s" is final or followed by a consonant it becomes a soft "t" (왔단다 & 왔느야 watt-danda & watt-neuya = azaleas). Same with the "ch" letter at the end of 꽃 kot = flower. If it's followed by a vowel then it's pronounced "ch."

Nice concept and cute book, but the music is a little hard to understand. Both the songs sung in Korean and English are difficult to understand--the words are not clear. There is a quality about the song production that sounds a bit home-made. They also are not as playful as I had imagined they would be. They sound a bit more like church music. A plus to the soothing sound is that this CD always helps put my son to sleep in the car. I would purchase this again, but I would just have slightly different expectations.

A very beautiful book with very beautiful pictures. For my first Korean book I could not have asked for something better! And it comes with a CD! Things could not get any better!

I like being able to teach my kids some Korean nursery rhymes. I wish it was a book that played music instead of having to track down a CD player, but it is a really nice book.

 This is my second set of Harry Potter coloring card kits. The first was based on the first Harry Potter Coloring book and this new kit is based on the second book and is of Magical Creatures.The first thing I will note is that this kit is very small. I knew what to expect having purchased the first kit. The dimensions listed seem to be that of the box holder when it is closed. The set of cards takes up very little space within the box, as it also holds the pencils and the magnetic frames.I'll provide details on the components below. The designs are very small with detailed coloring elements. I suggest only small nib coloring medium with this kit. I used both the pencils that came with the kit and my own pencils as well.I consider it a fun kit for any Harry Potter fan. They remind me of exchangeable cards that have been popular over the years. The pencils that came with the kit are very inexpensive and do not provide much by way of color. The other problem with the pencils had to do with the colors. The colors are standard but are not the ones that I would necessarily want to use for Magical Creatures. There wasn't even a black pencil in the set at all. I detracted a star from my review because of this issue.Here are the colors which are provided: dark green, medium green, yellow, orange, red, purple, brown, pink, light blue and dark blue. Even the dark colors still go on fairly light. These are the exact same colors I had in my previous kit from this company. I used the included colors to finish Fang (dog) and I used my own oil-based colored pencils color Fawkes (phoenix). You can see the huge difference in how the pencils colored.There are two folding magnet frames. Cute but inexpensive. They do nicely for holding a picture on the front of the refrigerator or on a locker – anything that a magnet will stick to.This is what I found while coloring the cards in this kit and testing them with my various coloring medium.30 Harry Potter designs in playing card sizePrinted on one side with high glossy backCardboard box holds entire set folds open and closes with magnetTwo folding magnetic “frames” for holding finished artworkAlcohol and water based markers and India ink pen did not bleed throughGel pens did not bleed through but some required extra drying timeColoring pencils did well but no room for blending in minute details

I love this kit. The cards to color are the size of playing cards but they are not hard to color. Comes with a handy case for the cards and colored pincels. The colored pincels that come with it are not the best quality but they color fine. I am giving a rating of 4 stars because the magnetic frames that come with the coloring cards seem to be to karate to hold the cards. The Detailed pictures are fun and easy to color.

didn't realize it was THAT tiny. Guess I didn't verify dimensions. The other review mentioned it's size, but everyone is a size queen these days. It's still adorable and would be great tossed in a purse for those stuck in a long line at the dr/s office or DMV times.

It’s very small and if I had known how small it was, I wouldn’t have bought it. This was suppose to be a Christmas gift, I ended up buying a different gift. If it was cheaper then it would have been fine I guess.

I picked up this book after completing a handful of beginner drum instruction books. This book is very thorough in its subject matter, but unfortunately will not work in my current state of self study. I found myself wishing I had a teacher to explain concepts by the middle of the 1st chapter. It just moved from easy to complex very quickly. I ended up getting a couple more "basic" books that are working out for the better. I will save this book for when I've laid down more groundwork.

Progresses into hand/foot concepts, drum to cymbal concepts, roll concepts, double bass concepts, to groupings of 3,4,5.The only thing I would add when using this book - also add hihat openings, Ride cymbal bell (and anything else one might think of) into the orchestrations.For the groupings they are for the most part hand to hand,or hand to foot. Try adding some sticking patterns (i.e. paradiddles, inverted paradiddles into the mix).

As with his double-bass book, Jeff Bowders presents some complex ideas for fills in his new book, "Essential Drumset Fills," but does so in an accessible manner wherein each lesson builds on the next, resulting in steady musical and technical growth. I've only had the book for a week and have just finished the first chapter, but the motion exercises contained therein already have me rethining my approach to my stock arsenal of drum fills. Jeff presents the material in a straight-forward manner, and peppers the text here and there with inspirational quotes from various sources. All in all, I can see this book becoming a valuable tool for drumset instructors, as well as the player interested in spicing up his musical vocabulary. Plus, the accompanying CD sounds great, and provides well-recorded examples of various exercises, as well as several play-along tracks, both with and without drums, that suggest Bowders has plenty of great musical ideas floating around in his head. I highly recommend this book, and think drummers of every skill level, from rank neophytes to Virgil Donati disciples, will find something useful between its covers.

I already owned Jeff's first book and DVD, so when I saw this reviewed in Modern Drummer magazine (and also here on Amazon) I knew I wanted it. However, I was concerned about MD's mention of "119 glue-bound pages". I wondered if I would have problems with this book on my music stand. I ordered it and was NOT disappointed!

I bought this package a couple of months ago. I have not had the time to practice a lot, but so far I can see that it is a very good book. Eye opener.Let me put it this way, I hope that some day I will be able to take lessons from this guy.Very good book.

this is by far the best fills book you will ever fall on, and the other fill books in the market (that i fell on) are either boring or too "school like" very very ugly fills. like march band fills etc.the audio is crystal clear,their is much information about fills not to bore you for ages.various difficulties from begginners to veteransi'm very moody when it comes to practicing, and this book has fill themes segregated, a chapter for double bass fills, a chapter for cymbal fills a chapter for motion , grouping etc.... so depending on what you feel like you can practice,this is the only book i found that has FILLS YOU Actually here in many of your favorite bands songs and wondered how the [...]did he do this :D very nicely worked fills.this book has helped me a lot!! if you want your fills to move to another level, buy that book.-ve points:-just like any other book, although the audio is around 70 tracks you have around 500 fills in the book and sometimes you wonder if some of the advanced fills you're playing sound right.one more thing the beats jeff plays before the fills are amazing, very groovy, you can pick some ideas from the grooves. not like the other boring books where you hear the same toub tak /toub toub tak beat on the whole audio :P5/5 get the book...

I'm working my way through these - and they're giving me a lot. Some of the seeming simple ones can catch you up. Well done.

This book is filled with great snare solo pieces that can challenge you, and help you improve on everything from rhythm reading to time signatures. It is hard to find good snare solos, but this book is chalk full of them! I highly recommend this for the intermediate/advanced drummer

This is a standard of percussion literature. Coming from the great Tony Cirone himself, this book gradually increases in challenge level and covers a wide range of technique. Highly recommend for students of percussion.

This book contains 50 solos that each work a different aspect of playing. One must pay special attention to note length and placement. It works timing and different feels of classical music. This pieces are meant to be played as orchestral pieces, not marching. Make sure all rolls are buzz and pay attention to if they are tied to a downbeat or not. It is an excellent book to work on every aspect of snare playing. Try to play the pieces for someone with musical knowledge so they can tell you if your interpretation of the solos are correct.

Since without excellent reading chops and expert guidance most people will not get beyond the second page.I use this book for my students who have mastered the concepts found in the Podemski book. They have all been challenged by Poprtraits, and thy have all benefited by it's use.Cirone has also published study books using the same rhythm notation in Portraits for tympani, keyboards, multi percussion, and drum set. Many of my students have successfully used these etudes as audition solos. It is quite impressive to be able to demonstrate reading, playing and interpretation skills on different instruments, using the same rhythmic notation.Highly recommended.

This book was purchased for my daughter. She was delighted to receive and begin using it. My daughter is very happy and with the contents of this book.

It is used by the school so it was a required purchase. It does seem to be a well laid out guide for playing the snare drum.

Well simplified and short read for many that are interested in subject. For a more scientific approach, read dr Fung's book.While at it, I would like to point some things worth checking that I'm not sure myself that those are truth. First, Dr Fung is not the inventor of the 5:2 Diet but it is Dr. Mosley. Secondly, and this is a big one - the key premise around Intermittent fasting is not the decreased number of calories. It's the insulin management. I think it should be better explained as it is the key of understanding why Intermittent fasting works.

It is a decent basic book on IF. Something you should read if you are just thinking about the idea of intermitten fasting to get a concise idea of the science behind it. If you are looking for a book that delves into why this works and the specific scientific studies that back it up then this is not the book you need. Think of this book as more of a cliff notes for intermittent fasting.

This just makes so much sense. It’s backed up by research. I have already lost 30 pounds. If you struggle with weight loss this will tell you why it is hormones not a character defect. It will tell you what to do about it. It will explain why fasting is easier than dieting. I recommend it.

I am a newbie with intermittent fasting and this book was perfect! It was simple yet informative...

Looks like she just took the info from other books and copied. Also she is wrong about a few things. Ex: she states you cannot have alcohol on a keto diet. Not true, one can stay in ketosis with some dry wines and spirits.

Good intro book, but you will want to upgrade to a book written by a physician soon after reading.

Very helpful, easy to read & understand & I liked the common sense approach & flexibility for different people.

Like InfoPath itself this book is both great and frustrating. This book is certainty better than having no book at all. Book makes reference to some things without explaining how to do them or where in the book you can find information about these topics. Book does not go into great technical detail which keeps the reader from unlocking some of the power of the product but also prevents non technical people from being overwhelmed. It is my understanding that Microsoft is killing off Infopath so do not expect authors to put effort into creating better books on this topic. Sad as it seems like infopath is a great tool for small and medium size firms.

The first 2/3 of this book should be re-titled to InfoPath for Dummies, Part 2. The author over simplifies his step by step instructions, but doesn't provide any real world context. Which would make it difficult for anyone just starting out to be able to get very far without going to other resources.The last 1/3 of the book seems to be geared for someone who is just short of a SharePoint site administrator.This book was poorly thought out as an instruction manual.

I got the book hoping for it to teach me how to auto populate table, however, I've found the instructions to be confusing and did not help me accomplish my goal. I have also had issues with using the example files I downloaded from the link in the book.

Good tips for use in real-world situations.
