the emphasis is on the model and her motive for wanting to create the glamour photo ... Chris lives up to his stated motivation of wanting to help the client project the image of herself she wants to see ... rather than creating an image of the client that doesn't exist ... whether that image is classy, sexy, playful, etc, Chris shows us how to help the client see a positive image of herself ... an image she has trouble seeing every day in the mirror ... photography like this is both artistic and positive in every sense of those words ... and the book is both informative and beautiful
A very good and concise book on the how, what, when and why of glamour photography. It's not as deep as Michael Freeman's books but it is also not just a quasi-coffee table book filled with great shots and little or no information. The book covers just about every possible style of glamour photography and contains the kind of tips and tricks that even the best photographer tends to forget unless he's shooting 24/7. You'll find this to be of continuous use and you might also find some things you've never thought of....but should have.
I didn't find this book particularly inspirational. There are a few interesting poses but in my mind not enough to make this a worthwhile purchase. I much preferred Picture Perfect Posing by Roberto Valenzuela, and The Art of Boudoir Photography by Christa Meola - both great resources for posing.
the problem I have with this E- book is that in several places the same two or three photos are reprinted as examples when it's clearly obvious the author was speaking of a different photo entirely. I will be seeking a refund.

Great book, good explanations. Gives interesting ideas to what seems to be an easy subject (which is actually not an easy subject).
I love this book! I have found it to be both informative and inspiring in terms of boudoir photography. A great buy!
