I am potentially biased because I work with the author but I think Jon does an excellent job summarizing the most important components of AR. While terminology is debated amongst the various players in the market, the opportunity and challenges of AR tech are well documented in this book, as well as the history and engineering/scientific aspects. I read it on Kindle Paperwhite.

The content of this book is exceptional. It reads like a draft copy at some points. Would be nice to see a 2nd edition in the future.
